About Karinne Fredenburg

Hello! I\'m a native Californian whose career spans over 20 years in the development of managers and leaders within organizations such as Nordstrom, IKON Office Solutions, Ricoh, SAP and Pitney Bowes. Along with having over 30 years of experience in the Human Resources arena, I understand the big picture of an organization and it\'s developmental needs. Some of my areas of expertise include Leadership and Soft Skills programs, Diversity and Inclusion workshops, Performance Management, Sexual Harassment Prevention programs, New Employee / Manager On-Boarding, Succession Planning programs for the development of future leaders, US and State Labor Law compliance, Cohort based training programs, and One-on-one Coaching and Mentoring of over 35 leaders utilizing tools such as MBTI and DiSC. I enjoy facilitating and producing classes utilizing technology such as Webex, Zoom, TEAMS, and even Adobe Connect!(yes I said that!) I am very familiar with learning platforms such as Cornerstone, CrossKnowledge, Blue Ocean Brain, Soundview and LinkedIn Learning. Over the past seven years I\'ve delivered over 900 individual sessions on a multitude of topics to thousands of participants, delivering both in-person, with the majority being virtually over the past few years. I regularly receive unsolicited positive feedback and recognition from my students regarding my engaging style of facilitation. I believe that I have a gift to simplify the message, make it relevant to the work my participants are performing day-in and day-out, while shedding light on how they can use the new skills they\'ve learned immediately back on the job. In addition to facilitation, over the past year, I\'ve done voice-over work for many Fortune 500 companies in the technology, medical, financial and social media fields. These are used for eLearing courses for the employees of these clients. I currently hold double certifications in Human Resources through the Human Resources Certification Institute (PHR) and the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM-CP)(Yes, my soul and beginning was in HR in California. of all states. face slap!) and I\'ve been certified by the American Management Association (AMA) to train Situational Leadership as well as Ken Blanchard Coaching for a Better Future. I enjoy giving back to my community by partnering with organizations, and volunteering to raise funds through donations, drives and walks and the like.    I work in partnership with the Human Resources and Organization Development to provide consultative, educational and direct support in the implementation of learning programs in the areas of compliance, management and HR processes.I have received recognition and awards for several special projects, most recently receiving the Innovation Award for my work on redeveloping our New Manager On Boarding Program to ensure new managers understand the tools and resources that will equip them to be successful leaders.
