Current company MAC Chamber
Non-Profit Organizations · 12 employees · Founded 2020 · Omaha, Nebraska, United States
The MAC Chamber, formerly the Midlands African Chamber, is a chamber of commerce dedicated to empowering, connecting, and championing the black business communities across Nebraska and beyond.
Founded in 2020, the Chamber serves as a catalyst for entrepreneurship, economic development, and business innovation by providing entrepreneurs and professionals with access to education, strategic partnerships, networking opportunities, technology training, and capital readiness resources.
Through signature initiatives such as the MAC Xcelerator, Pitch Black Conference, Ega Pitch, youth entrepreneurship programs, and business development workshops, the MAC Chamber supports startups, small businesses, and scaling enterprises globally.
The Chamber’s vision is to establish a strong business ecosystem for entrepreneurs in the Midwest with an international reach while increasing GDP for all. By bridging cultures, industries, and communities, the MAC Chamber is driving inclusive economic growth and creating pathways for long-term business success and generational wealth.
Through trade missions, international partnerships, cultural commerce initiatives, and business matchmaking opportunities, the Chamber also works to strengthen economic ties between Midwest businesses and emerging markets across the African diaspora. These efforts create pathways for import/export opportunities, foreign direct investment, supplier diversity expansion, and cross-border collaboration that position MAC members to compete in the global marketplace.
In addition to its economic development work, the Chamber actively engages in advocacy efforts that elevate the voice and visibility of Black businesses and underserved entrepreneurs. The MAC Chamber collaborates with corporate, government, and community stakeholders to advocate for equitable access to capital, procurement opportunities, workforce development resources, and policies that support business growth.
