Founded in California in 2009, Singer represents a philosophy simply expressed as A Relentless Pursuit of Excellence. The company has become renowned for its collaboration with owners of the air-cooled Porsche 911 to reimagine bespoke restorations. Over the past decade Singer has become a luxury brand with a global clientele, and is now synonymous with the concept of Reimagining – bringing together heritage with twenty-first century engineering and material science. Today Singer has operations in the US and UK, employing over 500 employees. The brand has been growing beyond car culture, with an award-winning Swiss watchmaking division, Singer Reimagined, launched in 2017. As Singer\'s first in-house attorney and General Counsel, I lead the company\'s legal function including: providing general corporate, commercial, and operational legal/risk management advice to the management team; actively participating in board and executive management meetings to provide legal advice and input on corporate strategy; supporting the organization\'s contract management, review, and approval process; partnering with executives on stakeholder management and engagement with the company\'s key creditors and equity investors; selecting and managing outside counsel and supporting equity capital raises and debt financing; and advising and counseling client departments on business matters including employment, marketing, procurement, sales, and customer relations issues.
