About Karina Lechuga

During the COVID lockdown, there wasn\'t much to do but sit and wait. I became immersed in the world of film, watching countless films and evaluating the behind-the-scenes. This time is where my childhood hobby transformed into a profound passion for the film industry.I’m a graduate from Seattle University, with a Bachelors of Business Administration in Marketing. I also completed a Film and Media Studies Minor and a Global Business Minor. With this multidisciplinary approach, I had the opportunity to explore the intersections of culture when marketing a film to diverse audiences. My journey has allowed me to strengthen various skills. While I enjoy working in collaborative spaces, I also excel in working individually. In my previous roles, I found delight in discovering what makes a film resonate with an individual. Strategizing creative marketing plans to bridge the connection between a piece of media and an individual audience member is the driving force for my passion to work in the film and marketing industry. My 5 GALLUP strengths are Restorative, Achiever, Deliberative, Adaptability, and Activator. These strengths combined make me a diligent worker capable of navigating unexpected issues. While my deliberateness instigates careful strategizing, my adaptability ensures that I can pivot quickly when necessary. Driven by a desire for achievement, I constantly push myself to accomplish bigger and better things.
