ABOUT KARINA GROBMAN
I am a passionate law student with previous work experience in law and public service. At Pepperdine University Caruso School of Law, I am a Research Assistant for Professor Koh on topics of immigration and faith. In addition, I am the Editor-in-Chief of the Pepperdine Dispute Resolution Law Journal, and I am pursuing a Straus Certificate in Dispute Resolution. Lastly, I am a Palmer Fellow at the Palmer Center for Entrepreneurship and the Law and serve as a General Board Member on the Palmer Center Student Board. Before law school, I worked in immigration law for approximately three years. My work included humanitarian visa cases, employment-based cases with C-Suite executives, and family-based cases. In 2019, I graduated summa cum laude from UCLA with a BA in Political Science. My senior thesis discussed free speech on campus and First Amendment rights. I presented my research at the UCLA Undergraduate Research Fair to professors, students, and the public. Then, the UCLA Undergraduate Law Journal selected my findings for publication (a coveted, selective process that involved multiple editors for approval). I also served as a Justice on the student government Judicial Board. I am open to opportunities for connection, learning, and growth. My skills include leadership, legal research and writing, and project management. I strive to bring these skills and provide exceptional legal representation as a future attorney.
