ABOUT KARINA SEN
Recent graduate of Wilfrid Laurier University in psychology. As an aspiring therapist, I have been working towards building experiences within the social services realm. I have been fortunate to conduct my own research under the supervision of tenured professors at Laurier and got to work alongside SHORE (formerly Planned Parenthood). During this time, I conducted focus groups and devised ways to make SHORE\'s services more inclusive and catered towards BIPOC youth. Additionally, I have worked with inviduals on the spectrum and got to work as a Program Coordinator for KW Habilitation. I was responsible for running a baking class and was lucky enough to foster a meaningful bond with all of the participants who attended, mainting 100% attendance for all of January. I have years of experience in the financial field and have gained advanced knowledge of Canada\'s housing policies and lender guidelines. I have been able to utilize this information to devise creative solutions and process large payouts for over 600+ customers per year. In my spare time, I write creatively-both fiction and non-fiction. My work is published on Medium, where I have garnered a growing following. Currently, I discuss contemporary social issues and film-but I plan on adding short stories to the mix!
