With the opportunity of being a job coach comes the chance to work beside my clients as we both build towards a better workplace they can work in. I focus on the growth areas of my clients while acknowledging the unique differences of each of them. Rapport is an important component of this position as I work closely with my clients in person at their workplace. I advocate for their right to be there and keep supervisors updated on clients’ growth progression. Everyone deserves to experience financial stability, no matter the disabilities or barriers one may have. Being a job coach allows me to practice my argument for this.
