Engage in coverage evaluations and policy recommendation discussions between Claims and Legal Departments. • Work directly with Claims Adjusters and Supervisors to assess cause of loss determinations and to address evaluation and handling of unique and complex claims.• Evaluate, address, and respond to CRN Complaints, DFS Service Requests, and Complaints and Comments.• Work directly with the Underwriting Department to assess potential material misrepresentations in policy applications and to evaluate policy cancellations and non-renewals.• Prepare for and conduct examinations under oath and depositions of policyholders, public adjusters, and witnesses.• Attend mediations, negotiate settlements, and prepare settlement recommendations and closing documents.• Prepare pleadings, dispositive motions, written discovery and responses, production material, affidavits.
