ABOUT KARIM KHODOR

I’m a student at the University of California, San Diego pursuing a double major in Business Economics and Political Science–Data Analytics, along with minors in Finance and Accounting. My academic path reflects a strong interest in the intersection of finance, data, and strategy, and how analytical thinking can be applied to real-world economic and business decisions.Growing up with a global perspective sparked my curiosity about how financial systems work and how markets, institutions, and policy shape economic outcomes. That experience pushed me to explore finance not just as a career path, but as a way to better understand and address complex economic challenges.At UC San Diego, I’ve focused on developing strong analytical and technical skills through coursework in economics, finance, and data analysis. My academic experience, along with involvement in finance-focused organizations, has strengthened my ability to approach problems quantitatively, think strategically, and communicate ideas clearly in fast-paced environments.I’m particularly interested in investment banking and financial markets, where rigorous analysis and strategic decision-making come together. What motivates me most is the opportunity to work on complex deals, understand businesses at a deeper level, and contribute to decisions that shape industries and long-term growth.
