With this lateral transition, I will be promoted to DevOps Engineer II working with the Earthdata Cloud Operations (EDCO) Team. I will still be on the NASA EOSDIS, EED-3 Project. My daily responsibilities include the prioritization of user support cloud requests, new cloud development to improve sustainability and scalability of multi-cloud service offerings. I will be coordinating with team members to develop operational cloud solutions to improve customer satisfaction, transparency, and accountability. Ensure accurate and timely completion of recurring cloud system maintenance activities. Troubleshooting efforts will take take place during system health events and promote scalable cloud operations strategies to the Earthdata Cloud (EDC) development community. I will still be following the the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) sprint and agile processes. All of this happens in the context of a modern DevSecOps environment that supports rapid multi-cloud deployment of highly automated and scalable solutions.
