Cambridge Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP) is a community-wide action plan that addresses the top health priorities in the City of Cambridge over a five-year period. It is based on an extensive Community Health Assessment that CPHD conducted in 2019. During the assessment, they engaged more than one thousand community stakeholders, residents, and community partners to identify and prioritize the most pressing health needs in the city.I am a member of the CHIP Community and Social Resilience workgroup working on- Convening annually with all CHIP workgroups to develop action plans for each fiscal year- Meeting quarterly as a workgroup to work on the implementation of the plan

ABOUT KARIM L RAZZAZ
Karim is a passionate community program manager, leader, and advocate, who strives to create positive change and impact in the Boston area. With a background in logistics and operation management, he has extensive experience in managing teams and resources across multiple initiatives and complex relationships. He currently works at the Islamic Society of Boston Cultural Center (ISBCC), where he develops and implements educational programs, civic engagement projects, and outreach strategies that foster diversity, inclusion, and belonging. He also serves as a Community Relation Representative at the Cambridge Public Health Department, where he contributes to the Community Health Improvement Plan, a collaborative effort to address the top health priorities in the city. Additionally, he leads the design team at the Cambridge Families of Color Coalition, a grassroots organization that aims to empower and support families of color in Cambridge. Karim is also pursuing an MBA in Social Impact at The Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University, with a focus on Economics and Racial Equity. He is interested in exploring the intersection of business, policy, and social justice, and how to leverage his skills and knowledge to create sustainable and equitable solutions. As a commissioner for immigration rights and citizenship appointed by the city of Cambridge, and a fellow for the Boston Bridges Fellowship, he demonstrates his commitment and leadership in advocating for equity and fairness for marginalized and underrepresented communities. He is also an active board member of the Cooperative Metropolitan Ministries, where he collaborates with other faith leaders to promote social justice and interfaith dialogue.
