As a Compliance Accountant at Abacus First Solutions, I have been working to meet compliance, regulatory, payroll needs of my client whose core business has multiple locations at VA, NC, PA, NJ and DE states. Along with team of accountants, my role includes filling/filing for renewal of business licenses, health, fire, zoning permits for continuous and safe business operations. Prepare and disburse biweekly payroll for employees at 15 locations. Prepare time sheets, enter in QB during payroll week. Report biweekly state/federal withholdings to respective portals/IRS regulatory compliance for continuous operation of business. Respond to various notices on behalf of business to different states related like some garnishments, CP207, NYS45 etc.Meet/file renewals of business license, business and privilege tax, mercantile tax etc to different states where applicable. Get in contact for health permits/establishment/facility licenses renewal with respective health departments to meet state/federal requirements. At present, we have to meet and fulfill accounting/financial/compliance/payroll needs of 15 locations at VA, NC and 63 locations at PA, NJ, DE states for which we follow regulatory requirements. Prepare, comply garnishment/child support notices as received by various courts. Record them. Deduct from payroll to comply them. Prepare/send checks to respective places. Pay permit/license/tax invoices payments using either ACH/eCheck/Check/CC.Use Quickbooks, Sage, HireMe, HR Alliance, IRS, many other federal/state portals to carry out assigned tasks.

Use HR Alliance for payroll and disbursements.iv. Use ACH, eCheck, Pay Checks, Direct Deposit etc methods for payments to payroll/tax payments, filing.v. Carryout Monthly, Quarterly, Annual filings and reports of state/federal withholdings using different state tax portals. Mostlyused NC, NJ, VA state tax filing and withholding portals. Prepare and respond to various notices and clarifications to various state and federal queries related to business, employment, garnishment etc.
