ABOUT KARIE SCOLLICK
I\'m a recent graduate of UOIT\'s Bachelors of Education program (OCT #643788) where I developed a passion for teaching and the proven skills to facilitate learning. I lead 12 different classes across 3 placements with the Toronto District School Board, where I taught Canadian History, American History, Language Arts, and Shakespearean Literature. I created lesson plans and unit tests, ensuring curriculum expectations were met. I worked with students who had learning and behavioural disabilities’, home-schooled students, as well as students with IEPs, and I also assisted in coaching the track and field team. Throughout my placement, I developed a strong teaching aptitude, and in pursuing my passion, I\'ve added 5 Additional Qualifications (AQ) including: Kindergarten Education (AQ), Junior Education (ABQ), Primary Education (ABQ), Co-op (AQ), and Special Education (AQ). I\'m looking to expand my network and pursue further opportunities in the educational field of teaching.
