Manage the operations of the Shared Services Group-US, Employee Services for North America. Employee Services currently includes HRIS, payroll, payroll tax, and time & attendance. • Responsible for managing the SAP 6.0 and 5.0, Ceridian, and multiple Time and Attendance applications to process employee data and payrolls for employees in US and CA. • Collaborate with internal partners on concerns with areas such as benefits, international employee transfers, employee relocation, financial reporting, general accounting, corporate tax, internal and external auditing, HRIS master data functions, and other HR/PR and tax functions. • Manage vendor relationships to ensure service levels are being met and system enhancements utilized. • Participate with legal, payroll and tax professionals to ensure Gerdau is compliant with US and CA payroll and HRIS laws. • Project business owner on several high-profile HR/PR projects including the integration of SAP ECC6, time and attendance system, and several large merger and acquisition integrations. • Develop KPI’s and SLA’s for the EE Services group. • Work directly with HR to develop policies concerning pay practice, which also includes Collective Bargaining Union Agreements (CBA\'s). • Responsible for managing the department budget.
