The biggest challenges of our time are systems challenges. Solving them requires new coalitions, new financing models, and new ways of thinking about how markets, policy, science, sociology, and psychology work together.For more than two decades I have worked at the intersection of these forces, helping design and scale initiatives that mobilize capital, influence policy, and shift global systems toward better outcomes for people and the planet.Today I serve as Head of Impact at Canopy, where I work with global brands, producers, and investors to accelerate the transition away from Ancient and Endangered Forest fibre and scale next generation materials across packaging and textiles. The goal is to align corporate procurement, innovation, and investment with the protection of critical ecosystems.Previously I served as Chief Growth Officer at CDP, the world’s leading environmental disclosure platform, where I led global partnerships, impact, and resource mobilization strategies with governments, foundations, and major corporations to expand climate and nature disclosure and integrate environmental performance into financial decision making.I also collaborated with Johan Rockström and colleagues at the Potsdam Institute and Planetary Guardians on the launch of the first annual Planetary Boundary Health Check, helping connect advances in Earth system science with the decisions shaping global markets and governance.Earlier in my career I helped architect the global movement to combat Neglected Tropical Diseases while serving as Managing Director of the Global Network for Neglected Tropical Diseases at the Sabin Vaccine Institute. Through coalition building, policy engagement, and catalytic philanthropy, the initiative helped unlock billions of dollars and scale one of the most successful global health efforts of the modern era, ultimately reaching more than one billion people worldwide.Across my career I have worked on initiatives connected to four U.S. presidential priorities and helped mobilize large scale public, philanthropic, and private investment to advance global health, environmental protection, and sustainable development.I am the author of two chapters in Disease Eradication in the 21st Century (MIT Press) and have contributed to peer reviewed publications including The Lancet. My current writing explores planetary boundaries, systems thinking, and the convergence of science, ecology, and human consciousness.

   Executive team member and strategic partner to the Executive Director, responsible for driving global influence across corporate sustainability, public policy, and market transformation. I lead the design and execution of strategies that scale Canopy’s impact—strengthening campaigns, forging high-level corporate partnerships, and advancing external thought leadership to shift global supply chains away from Ancient and Endangered Forests. Canopy works with 950+ company partners (and brand, producer, and innovation partners overall), and has helped secure large-scale conservation gains across 16.6 million hectares of Ancient and Endangered Forests.
