Duties include analyzing scripts and writing notes, creating pitch decks, and formulating strategy for selling projects by attaching directors, writers, and talent. • Led a room of five Script Editors to create and sell television ideas for specific financier mandates. • Source and analyze new material for film and TV slate through tracking available scripts and IP. • Manage writer commencement and delivery payments, oversee submission of purchase orders and invoices. • Manage development budgets for feature and television projects with Amazon, including costs for writer fees, casting director, budget and schedule, and legal fees. • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure delivery for produced feature films in physical production, legal, marketing and publicity. • Maintain relationships in the US and the UK with directors, writers, agents, actors, managers, producers, and studio executives. Strong knowledge of UK-based directors, writers, and representatives.
