The Welcome Fund, a program of Welcome.US, provides a source for nimble and responsive grantmaking to frontline organizations as they involve community members to welcome newcomers. The Welcome Fund has raised over $23 million from over 1,700 large and small donors, providing more than $20 million in grants to more than 200 organizations, over 60 percent of which are diaspora, refugee, veteran, or faith-led. These community organizations have mobilized over volunteers to welcome their new neighbors, and built community support structures for sponsors and beneficiaries so that new, expanded sponsorship pathways can succeed and endure.
