Teacher of Economics and Business, Subject Lead a Level Business and Leap (Enterprise) Coordinator @The Grammar School At Leeds
I teach A level Economics and Business Studies at The Grammar School at Leeds and I am also Head of A Level Business Studies. In addition to teaching at the school, I am also responsible for enterprise activities. We currently have 100 students involved in the Leeds Enterprise Advisory Programme (LEAP) where students are able to gain \'hands on\' experience of running their own company and I am a Board Member of LEAP itself. I have previously successfully run the Partnership Through Business Enterprise Scheme where younger students at the school formed \'businesses\' with students from other local schools and community projects. More recently, I have been instrumental in setting up The GSAL Business Networking Group which is a closed group for parents, alumni and others with connections to The Grammar School at Leeds. We have high profile guest speakers each term such as Will King CEO of King of Shaves and Dinah Bennett OBE. We now over 500 members on LinkedIn.
