About Karen Tidwall

For over 25 years, Karen has zealously represented clients at all phases of the litigation process from pre-suit negotiation to alternative dispute resolution and, when necessary, through trial. She has substantial experience successfully handling complex commercial and business disputes involving breach of contract and warranty, real estate, fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, and other business torts. When not fighting for her clients in the courtroom, Karen advises on risk management and problem-solving solutions to help meet business goals and minimize any risk of litigation. Karen also represents trustees, personal representatives, and other fiduciaries, or beneficiaries, in challenging trust, estate, and fiduciary dispute matters. Her extensive experience includes the successful resolution of will and trust contests alleging lack of capacity and undue influence, common law and ERISA breach of fiduciary duty claims, and claims of interference with inheritance, fraud, and civil theft. Karen is active on various committees at HB, is the Milwaukee hiring chair, and serves on the boards of many professional and community organizations. Since 2016, Karen has been recognized annually as a Wisconsin Super Lawyer and a Best Lawyers in America, and she received the Wisconsin Law Journal\'s 2015 \"Woman in the Law\" award, among other professional recognitions.
