About Karen Steinbock
I’ve had incredible opportunities to use my nursing skills for everything from saving lives in a war zone to helping lead healthcare organizations to supporting nursing students with integrating their learning into clinical practice to coaching leaders and entrepreneurs.Along the way, I\'ve collected a couple of degrees, invented and patented a product, written and published a few articles, hiked hundreds of miles with Abby the dog, and consumed a delightful amount of Ben & Jerry\'s. I\'m less concerned with finding \"balance,\" which seems to indicate arrival at some specific, preferred state, and more interested in experimenting with what\'s interesting and poking at limiting beliefs about what\'s possible. In this season of my career, I\'m enjoying the opportunity to mentor, coach, and support others. There are vast opportunities for us to do more to support and develop leaders and to help our peers excel and thrive. I don\'t have all the answers, but I\'ll keep asking, and keep supporting others in asking, the kinds of meaningful questions that will help us create solutions together.
