ABOUT KAREN RUBIN
I have retired from my practice at Thompson Hine LLP in Cleveland, where I focused on litigation, legal ethics and professional responsibility. I have been involved in the legal community as a legal blogger, a member and past chair of local and state ethics committees, and as a member and past chair of the Ohio Supreme Court\'s Commission on Professionalism. My law license is currently inactive.I am also an adjunct professor of law teaching legal ethics at my alma mater, Cleveland State University College of Law. I\'m proud to have been honored with the Judge Richard Markus award for excellence in teaching, and with selection to the CSU Law Hall of Fame.
