As portfolio manager for Means Wealth Management, I lead our investment committee and oversee the company\'s $1B+ assets under management from our Greenville, South Carolina office. With over 20 years of experience in portfolio management and leadership on investment committees, I am dedicated to aligning our portfolios with client goals and market conditions. I take pride in working for a Registered Investment Advisor that prioritizes clients\' needs above its own.I am a passionate financial literacy advocate, with a mission to empower women and young people. I co-authored the Amazon bestselling book,\"Mind of Gold: A Girlfriend’s Guide to Financial Freedom\" which equips women to overcome their fear of money and achieve financial independence. We also published \"Even a Kid: Financial Literacy for Kids,\" another Amazon bestseller introducing young readers to the fundamentals of starting a business.*Previously, I served as President of the CFA Society of Spokane, Washington, and as a Board Member of the CFA Society of South Carolina. I also co-led the CFA Institute’s \"Women in Investment Management Initiative\" for the South Carolina Chapter.An avid traveler, I have explored, hiked, or danced in 32 countries and counting. Additionally, I am a Licensed Minister of Dance, helping women overcome childhood trauma. In my free time, I enjoy cheering on my Clemson Tigers and New England Patriots and spending time with my grown sons.
