Advice relates to national strategy to combat existing and emerging threats impacting the availability of illegal drugs in the United States, as well as the criminal activity associated with the drug trade, which is achieved through funding member-federal law enforcement agencies and 93 U.S. Attorney\'s Offices. Also reviews and responds to Congressional requests for comments on all existing and proposed legislation, testimony of cabinet level and agency directorates, as well as public commentary and research related to program goals, which support the Department of Justice’s Strategic Goals and Objectives; provides guidance and support on intelligence-driven investigations and prosecutions; and, assists the Director with district reviews of 94 U.S. Attorneys Offices. Also, served as Ethics Advisor and Freedom of Information Act legal advisor and reviewer.
