I have started working on the Market Planning team with KFC US Development as the Market Planning analyst. In this role, I develop, implement, and maintain prioritized market plans to enable and accelerate the US Growth & Development Strategy. I develop tools and guidance on market planning, mapping, and trade area prioritization/penetration. I am the subject Matter Expert for division mapping/GIS and development systems support and manage KFC GIS across systems, maintain databases in support of the GIS, and produce maps for market / site tours, Site Review Meetings, and other brand support as needed. I provide tools and analytics for monitoring, assessing, and gleaning insights regarding growth strategies, market plans, demographics, portfolio segmentation, penetration potential, etc. I provide support and maintain process for sales impact or “cannibalization” models, including developing / maintaining impact models and post auditing results. I also support the impact study process for new unit development. I maintain key suite of standard reporting and analytics that enable team productivity, accelerate decision making, improve forecasting, and drive insights-based action.
