After my expereince as the GM for two northern CA hotels - I saw first hand how disruptive some hotel guests treated the staff and distroyed rooms. It was costly to continue to fix distroyed rooms and it created down-time (lost revenue and hurt our ROI). It also created staff frustration resulting in a high level of turn-over. After doing research I found that this was not a unique situation but rather a national hotel/hospitality problem. The challenge - how to keep unwanted disruptors from staying at our hotels? The solution - HotelDamageControl.com - The National Do Not Rent listing tool teams the Hospitality industry together to identify and stop disruptors from checking in.
