I lead the Communications Division at the California State Teachers\' Retirement System (CalSTRS). We are a team of information officers, graphic designers, multimedia specialists, web and social content producers, and administrative professionals. Together, we develop and implement communication strategies to ensure our one million members and beneficiaries receive the information they need to understand their benefits and enjoy a secure retirement. As part of the Public Affairs Branch, we collaborate with our colleagues in External Affairs, Governmental Relations, and other divisions to tell CalSTRS\' story to stakeholders and the general public. We also manage and produce internal communications for all CalSTRS employees.
