I am a dedicated and passionate professional who believes in empowering students and celebrating their success-Provide career counseling services to students/graduates and develop/strengthen employer relationships-Deliver targeted services and information to students in the COAST College and to students from all disciplines interested in Technology/Engineering -related careers. Serve as point-person for students interested in all the technology -related careers including planning and delivering relevant programs-Through counseling appointments and consultations, provide students with guidance and information regarding career decision-making, career options, goal setting, career research, the job search process and applying to graduate school. Deliver a variety of career workshops and programs on above topics-Initiate special programming and projects based upon the changing needs of students and the marketplace-Develop tailored e-mail communications to mailing lists, and other written materials that are customized to students and alumni-Create working relationships with technology -related student organizations as well as campus staff. Collaborate on program delivery-Consult with employers regarding optimal marketing strategies to reach students-Act as coordinator or assist with various career fairs and events-Participate on Career Center, COAST College, and University -wide committees and projects-Serve on a 5 member, Employer Development Group Committee; to develop and maintain strong employer relationships,promote internship and career opportunities for all Weber State students.Specialties: Career opportunities WSU-COAST studentsEmployer realatoins
