Karen used to be drawn to the speed, opportunity and chaos created by revolutionary rather than evolutionary technology: Military satellite communications in the \'80s, cellular infrastructure in the 90\'s, video over cellphones in the \'00s and later technology and social applications of the Internet. While that still intrigues her, she now finds herself focused on system change that results in solving community problems - permanently. Right now, she is focused on ending homelessness and systemic racism. Karen has 25 years of experience, ten of which are running startup technology businesses performing strategy, product management, business development, and operations coupled with fifteen years in research and product development using her electrical engineering degrees.
