In this role, I lead all Special Event Sales and Production for the Museum. Cultivating and stewarding relationships with donors, clients and colleagues to produce Exhibition Openings, Receptions, Fundraising Galas and Events, as well as overseeing the department on producing external rentals of the museum for private events. Our rental program brings in $1.8M for the institution. I manage a team of two direct reports, as well as various other junior level associates in the department, on events. I manage the day to day Operations for our in-house food-service provider, including Catering and Restaurant & Cafe. In September of 2020 we opened a sidewalk cafe, with outdoor seating, during NYC Outdoor Restaurant program.
