Manage daily operations activities to ensure exposures are maintained within approved limits under the credit policy compliance * Proactively manage risk and collaborate with senior leadership to implement strategies to ensure timely collections and minimize bad debt* Responsible to manage credit risk for assigned markets, including direct control over the credit review process, cash flow transactions, approval of shipments and AR status. Oversee Account Collections process, workflowand regulations* Cultivate and build productive business relations with internal and external customers. Update and monitor payment terms, due date and negotiate payment plans* Verify and post cash receipts transactions for assigned markets. Track electronic bank payments, transfers, manage ACH Wires and credit card payments, reconcile payment on accounts as needed * Establish metrics to provide up-to-date data to make informed decisions and develop key areas for improvement* Work closely with Sales Department, Logistics Department to resolve AR Collections issues, discrepancies and internal agreements with Latin American customers* Research, compile and analyze data in determining credit worthiness of new and existing customers. Taking into consideration the micro and macro country and political risk involved * Maintain records of all onboarding documentation for credit commercial operations including: credit applications, credit ratings, personal guarantees, letters of credit and company financials.
