Karen works tirelessly to help residential and commercial policyholders with their property damage insurance claims representing clients with major hurricanes, fires, floods and other catastrophes throughout Florida. She is a Certified Insurance Appraiser & Umpire (CPAU) with the Insurance Appraisal & Umpire Association (IAUA) and Windstorm Insurance Network and represents and resolves property damage claim disputes.Moving from New York to Florida in 1994 was pivotal for Karen knowing she could do so much more to help others. With over 40 years of combined legal and public adjusting experience, this work background and the knowledge she gained during this time, gave her the ability to understand insurance policies and the rights of policyholders. Karen’s strength, integrity and perseverance allows her to represent clients well. The insurance claim process is now, more than ever, a complicated process and Karen guides her clients every step of the way.Karen’s experience includes adjusting, appraising and umpiring insurance claim losses for residential and commercial policyholders. She is Matterport Certified and a Notary Public.She has a passion for helping others and volunteers, donates, and works to raise money for those in need. Karen serves on the Executive Board of CAP Nation, Inc. and is Co-Director of Donor Relations & Community Services.Karen is a proud member and a Past President of the Florida Association of Public Insurance Adjusters (FAPIA), the largest public insurance adjuster trade association the the United States. She Co-Chairs several committees including the Unlicensed Activity Fraud Committee (UAF), and Chaired the Community Affairs Committee for ten years, and is the Past President of the FAPIA Foundation.She also enjoys working out, quality time with family and friends, music, and gardening.
