Work with the Director of Education to design and implement the overall e-learning strategy of the Society, such as: • Collaborate with subject matter experts, course developers, and staff to identify and create high quality e-learning activities for cardiothoracic surgeons and their teams, based upon needs assessments and identified practice gaps.• Direct the ongoing development of STS e-book products and platforms.• Manage the standardization of STS e-learning educational offerings to enhance the user experience (style guide, user interface, etc.).• Research, identify and recommend as appropriate the integration of new technologies, tools, instructional methods and techniques into STS e-learning activities.• Manage the Society’s learning management system (LMS) and oversee all LMS activities and functions.• Cultivate and maintain liaison and business relationships with key collaborators, including external vendors and consultants.• Analyze and interpret evaluation data from educational programs; help lead efforts to improve experiences/outcomes for all STS educational activities.• Develop and recommend an operational budget each year to support the ongoing development of STS e-learning products, as well as the maintenance of existing e-learning products.
