Responsible for managing the Action Table Calgary initiative. The project is a three-way partnership between United Way Calgary and Area, Calgary Police Service, and the City of Calgary. This includes leading the multi-sector working group and supervising the Action Table Coordinator, and moving the project forward through evaluation, data flow, process improvements, and community engagement. The Manager of Action Table Calgary stewards the project by liaising with internal departments, partner organizations, project management and strategic planning. The position is also responsible for taking a systems lens to the work and ensuring that it is part of a coordinated system of care in the local community.

I\'ve spent most of my career in the disability sector, developing and leading programs and complex projects for non-profit organizations. Since my introduction to the social services sector in 2020, I have brought my previous disability sector experience and desire to empower others to create impactful community initiatives supporting the older adult sector. A committed lifelong learner, I am finishing my Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from Royal Roads University and have completed several other educational pursuits, including a Business Essentials Certificate from Haskayne School of Business. I use my broad experience and skills in strategic planning, relationship building, program, project and change management, training, and facilitation to support disability and social services organizations. I have recently expanded my work to include supporting non-profit management as an independent consultant. I grew up in rural Saskatchewan but have lived in Calgary with my daughter for over 20 years. I have an extensive collection of house plants and enjoy playing pickleball and kayaking.
