I’m currently a Marketing and Communications Manager working as the Programme Manager for Children\'s Social Work Matters (CSWM), a regional partnership across 15 Local Authorities in Yorkshire and the Humber, for which Barnsley Council is the host authority. Working together our aims are to raise the image of social work and drive recruitment through a wide range of digital channels, SEO and PR strategies. I also engage key stakeholders to support the learning and professional development of practitioners and students regionally through a private digital platform, with a series of webinars, podcasts, case studies, videos and events to help improve social work practice.In 2018 CSWM was shortlisted to be an LGC Awards finalist in the Public / Public Partnerships category, giving national recognition for our achievements over the last 8 years. Since then I have been invited to speak at numerous National, regional and local events across England to share our approach.
