With 25+ years of experience in building highly successful restaurants, I am a Multi-Unit Operations Management Professional known for meeting and exceeding corporate standards through effective presentation, cost control, safety and profitability. My proven ability to increase sales in highly competitive environments resulted in my leading several Pilot Programs that were later adopted regionally and across the company. In addition to managing day-to-day operations in multiple units, I mentor General Managers and have directed several successful fundraising efforts with community partners. Currently, I am Area Manager for Boston Market, where I oversee 9 Chicago-area restaurants and team of 185 associates. Previously, I was Director of Operations for a 7-restaurant district of Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill & Bar in central Wisconsin and led a team of 28-member management team to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, a focus on controlling food and non-food costs, effective labor scheduling and high levels of customer service and satisfaction. I also have experience as Director of Operations for 10 Olive Garden Italian Restaurants in Georgia and Alabama where I was responsible for opening 4 new restaurants. In all these roles, I have been recognized for my ability to improve performance, sales and profitability.Throughout my career, I have demonstrated strong leadership and the ability to develop highly effective restaurant operations by analyzing processes and operations and developing and implementing strategies to boost results.
