The E.D. is responsible for setting strategic goals in accordance with the school’s mission and directly supervises a team of six (COO, CFO, CPO, Director of Development, and two Program Directors), a total staff of approximately 120 and an annual operating budget of $10M.The Executive Director carries out the broad educational and other institutional policies in collaboration with the Trustees and acts within the limits of financial policy set by the Trustees. Within these policies and guidelines, the Executive Director determines the methods for implementing Trustees’ policies, creates operational policy, oversees the business operation, provides administrative and professional leadership for faculty and staff, orchestrates external relations, and has responsibility for the successful operation of the school. The Executive Director is the Chief Executive Officer of the school.
