ABOUT KAREN HOFFMAN
As a lifelong learner, my passions and purpose are manifested through helping people live their most authentic and meaningful lives possible. In my 30+ year professional life, I have been committed to working with non-profit, Jewish and multi-faith organizations. I’ve served in various leadership roles, always helping others grow. Whether as an administrator, program director, educator, or in other leadership roles, I\'ve always found personal and professional fulfillment in the work I\'ve done. I love working with people who have a similar passion for making our world a better place and helping people in meaningful ways. I enjoy creating and facilitating programs and workshops that help people on their paths to self-discovery and meaning, with a special focus on finding meaning in words and mindfulness practices. In July 2024, I received certification to be affiliated with the international organization, Morning Altars, as a Certified Morning Altars Teacher. Founder Day Schildkret established this program so that the bountiful benefits of this therapeutic healing modality could be expanded. Combining Nature, Creativity and Ritual, this unique, 7-step process is life-changing. Contact me for more information. My professional goals are 1) to help others find fulfillment in their lives; 2) to continue learning and sharing with others in an effort to repair the brokenness in our world, community and individual lives; 3) to help individuals cultivate practices, habits and awarenesses that offer them greater personal fulfillment, purpose and meaning in life; and 4) to assist organizational leaders to provide work environments that foster personal and professional growth, living in harmony between work-and-home life.Specialties: Through my commitment to lifelong learning, I am always stretching myself, identifying growth areas for both myself and others, and working outside the box to creatively and effectively make a difference in people\'s lives. With my MBA in non-profit management, I learned about fundraising, public relations, organizational behavior and program evaluations, as well as accounting and other areas vital to the successful operation and management of non-profit organizations. At UCLA, I received a Bachelor\'s degree in Psychology, always carrying that knowledge and experience in my people-centric toolkit. My life and professional experiences have always focused on people and organizations that help people in meaningful ways.
