About Karen Flood

I started Riverside College Coaching because I am passionate about helping college students achieve their academic, personal, and career goals. I work 1:1 with students who are seeking additional support to succeed with college-level academics. I also consult organizations dedicated to college access, helping them build or refine college persistence programs. Prior to founding Riverside, I spent 30 years at Harvard University, teaching courses, leading academic programs, and advising undergraduates in both their college work and personal journeys.

   At Riverside College Coaching I work with a wide range of students who are seeking supplemental support outside of their own university resources. I have a particular focus on students with executive functioning challenges, students who are resuming studies after a leave of absence, and international students navigating the American college system. I also serve as a consultant to organizations dedicated to college access for students from underresourced and underserved communities, helping them build or refine their college success programs.
