ABOUT KAREN KIKI ENDERS

Highly skilled, dedicated & exceptionally passionate Registered Nurse with over 20 years of Hospice & Palliative care experience. I have greater than 30 years in the healthcare industry starting my career as a CNA. Dedication & drive is a strong trait which has provided me the opportunity to progress to an LPN, ASN, then BSN. My career path has allowed personal & professional growth as I worked passionately as a bedside nurse, home care nurse, advancing to quality supervisor, Hospice Clinical Manager, Hospice Admissions Director, and currently Director of Hospice Home Care. Caring for any individual during their end of life journey is an honor & privilege. I am blessed to be present during these sacred moments. As a leader I strive, daily, to ensure I build & support a team that understands the regulatory standards of Hospice & Palliative care while providing compassionate care. I inform the team of the \"why\" processes are in place to meet those regulatory standards. I encourage team members to have a voice because no one individual knows everything. A voice encourages support and new ideas. I encourage growth but require accountability. I am a leader that encourages, motivates, and brings the interdisciplinary team together as equals. I lead by example. It takes a village to promote living while dying and I am blessed to be a member of the \"village.\" Talks about #HospiceCare #PalliativeCare #EndofLife #AddingLifeToYourDays #FlorenceWald #1stHospiceInAmerica #LivingWhileDying #StartingHospiceSoonerThanLater
