Established in SMSDC is a non-profit 501 C-3 organization that is committed to advocating and building relationships for mutually beneficial business opportunities for our corporate members and MBEs. SMSDC service area expands from Southwest Texas, the State of Oklahoma and the State of New Mexico.As SMSDC performs its commitment to Certify, Connect, Develop, and Advocate; the certified MBEs and Corporate Members will develop and build relationships that positively influences their bottom line. SMSDC is an affiliate of the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC). The NMSDC is a nationally recognized organization that provides the “Gold Standard” certification for MBEs. SMSDC also assists corporations with the implementation of corporate supplier diversity plans. This service includes training on how to succeed in meeting your corporate diversity goals and report the success of your program to customers. Professional development and educational programs are popular throughout the NMSDC network and SMSDC offers excellent programs for it\'s stakeholders and constituency.
