Oversee all operations of the NODC, building multi-stakeholder collaborations that advance economic, environmental and quality of life initiatives on the North Olympic Peninsula. Extensive program development, board management, grant writing and administration, budgeting and financial management. Hiring and supervision of small staff and consultants-Secured multiple new funding streams to grow the organization from a staff of one to 5.75 FTEs and quadruple the budget- Developed a regional broadband initiative and coordinated the Clallam County Broadband Action Team from 2019 to present. Primary author of the County\'s Broadband Action and Digital Equity Plan in 2023- Secured funding for a regional Climate Resilience Planning process and oversaw the two-year planning process from 20••••22. Managed consultant procurement process, recruited and coordinated a project steering committee and co-authored reports- Convened a 3-day Energy Futures Conference for the North Olympic Peninsula in partnership with Pacific Northwest National Laboratory in November 2022, securing sponsorships, bringing together local and Tribal governments, Public Utilities, experts from PNNL, the University of Washington Clean Energy Institute and WSU Energy Program, and state, federal and private funders- Convening of a 1-day Energy Futures Meeting in November 2023 to follow up on the 2022 event, highlighting progress made and new opportunities for funding and technical assistance- Securing a sub-contract with PNNL on a DOE-funded Marine Renewable Energy project for 20••••24. Design and manage a community engagement process with local communities and Tribes, to explore interest, opportunities and concerns about MRE technology and develop criteria for local decision-making-Expanded sustainable agriculture program to provide business advising to farm and food businesses and collaborate with partners on food systems planning and feasibility projects.
