ABOUT KAREEN PATTERSON

I am deeply passionate about building services which support human wellbeing. I\'ve worked in healthcare for 14 years building and managing service lines, primarily a group-based care model created from inception, turning an idea formulated in graduate school to a nation-wide program with impressive clinical outcomes (e.g. 30%+ reduction in GAD-7). I\'ve partnered with numerous clinicians and coaches to design educational, skill-based, inclusive, and life-changing content and services, which have had a significant impact thousands of lives. I\'ve brought people together to build community and connection when it was most needed.I am a student of human behavior, with a endless amount of curiosity, drive towards improvement, and desire to make lives better. I love building programs and systems that are efficient, outcomes-oriented, and human-centered. I obsess over the member/patient and provider experience. I believe relationships form the core of our well-being and sense of self, and creating the opportunity for people to connect with healthcare professionals, with one another, and with themselves, in a way that motivates, nurtures, and heals, is my greatest joy and life\'s work. My goal is to continue finding opportunities which allow me to partner with similarly passionate, mission-driven individuals to build a healthcare system that is accessible, affordable, equitable, empathetic, and transformative. I am most passionate about mental/behavioral health, metabolic health, lifestyle and behavior change, and women\'s health.
