ABOUT JOSH H. KARDISCH

For much of my legal career, I defended small through Fortune 500 companies in personal injury and wrongful death litigation involving toxic exposures, defective products, and construction site accidents throughout the country. I spent approximately 20 years as the managing partner in my own civil litigation and appellate firm which represented plaintiffs and defendants in toxic tort, environmental, medical malpractice, nursing home negligence, general personal injury, and employment discrimination matters. Most recently, I joined the Pegalis Law Group, LLC, a firm with a long and distinguished history of helping victims of medical malpractice and other catastrophic events. As such, I will focus my professional efforts on the plaintiffs\' side of serious personal injury cases and I hope to continue to prosecute claims of employment discrimination, sexual harassment, and hostile work environment, as well. Between 1985 and 1996, I was an associate and then a partner in a large national firm. Working with a team of fine litigators, I defended toxic tort, premises, environmental, products liability, and commercial lawsuits for international chemical companies and other manufacturing entities. I have authored/co-authored more than 40 published articles and have lectured and been interviewed for print, television and radio in my areas of concentration. I am a long-standing member of the New York State and Nassau County Bar Associations and served on the Speaker’s Bureau and the Labor and Employment Committee. I have also served as a judge in the Hofstra University School of Law Moot Court Competition and as an instructor in the Trial and Deposition Skills Program.
