As a core member of the VW Group’s Group Data Platform, responsible for various complex domain wide technology maps across all VW Group brands such as,• Platform Owner of a group-wide hybrid API Management Platform along with Data Sharing (Catena-X) artefacts• Drafting group-wide architectures for integration patterns and technology focused on both on-premise and cloud infrastructure• Steering effort estimation, planning, implementation, operation, and support of platforms and artefacts in accordance to VW policies and SAFe framework• Supports finance and accounting of the platform according to VW processes• Manages the delivery of artefacts by partners / suppliers - evaluates and steers contracting process for partners and external suppliers• Steering and consulting on integration topics and IT management with the brands involved• Leading and supporting teams in solution design along with integration topics, using various offerings using AWS, Mulesoft, Kafka, Snowflake, etc.• Supports the group-wide data-strategy for platforms aligned with global vision• Ensures compliance with enterprise guidelines, i.e, GDPR, FOSS, TQA, Data Security, IT-Security, and specific platform SLAs• Drafting architectures leveraging TOGAF mapping to the domain-specific technical demands w.r.t. functional and non-functional requirements• Facilitating and initiates POCs to support architectural or technical decisions• Driving the API Management topics using cloud-ready solutions• Analysis of business and technical requirements as well as conception of the architecture.As an ArchOps follower, peer-reviewing architectural decisions inside the Architecture Guild, sharing knowledge and best practices on architecture within the engineering organization is also part of my mission.
