ABOUT KARA RYDBERG
I am in my fourth year as an undergraduate student at the University of Florida, majoring in Meteorology with my specialization in General Atmospheric Science. I am also a Geography minor specializing in weather impacts on society. I am also an NSF SOARS Protege and an Undergraduate Research Assistant through the UF Department of Geography.I hold positions in the American Meteorological Society Gator Chapter, the UF Student Chapter of AMS, as President (2025) and Secretary (2024). Here, I facilitate a community of fellow weather lovers in a proactive environment open to all.
