About Kara Reeder

I am a Registered Behavior Technician with a background in Behavioral and Social Sciences, committed to delivering evidence based mental health care and supporting individuals across diverse clinical needs. My work is grounded in direct patient care, where I focus on behavior intervention, skill acquisition, and creating supportive environments that promote meaningful progress.Through my clinical experience, I have developed a strong interest in the psychological and emotional processes that shape behavior, particularly in areas such as trauma, depression, and caregiver experiences. Working closely with individuals and families has strengthened my ability to remain patient centered, adaptable, and attentive to both data driven outcomes and human connection.I am currently expanding my experience through opportunities in research and clinical settings, with the goal of contributing to work that bridges evidence based practice with real world impact. I am especially interested in roles that allow me to support research initiatives, engage with diverse populations, and continue developing as a future clinician.My long term goal is to pursue graduate training in clinical psychology and contribute to improving access, quality, and understanding of mental health care.
