I’ve spent 25+ years building financial models, recovering troubled organizations, negotiating public funding, and leading cross-sector teams through complex change.But the work that changed me most wasn’t in a boardroom. It was by my daughter’s bedside. After losing Sonny to Acute Myeloid Leukemia in 2017, I turned my heartbreak into advocacy. Team Sonny’s Sunshine was born as a promise kept—now a movement of awareness, fundraising, and hope for families facing leukemia and lymphoma and other cancers.That experience shifted how I lead. I now champion human-centered systems, courageous conversations, and compassionate trauma-informed leadership in every role I take on. I’ve brought transparency, healing, and structure to nonprofits navigating crisis.My goal is to continue scaling impact through soul-aligned leadership, strategic advocacy, and legacy-building work.
