ABOUT KARAN SINGH RUPAL
I\'m a fourth-year Civil Engineering student at Toronto Metropolitan University, currently completing a 16-month co-op as a Junior Project Coordinator with Aecon Group at Ontario Power Generation’s Darlington Nuclear Generating Station. With prior experience as a Construction Project Manager at Elegant Design & Construction, I bring a strong foundation in both large-scale infrastructure and residential project execution. I’ve had the opportunity to coordinate multi-disciplinary teams on projects exceeding $86M in value, gaining deep exposure to nuclear standards, construction planning, regulatory compliance (CSA, ASME, NBCC, OESC), and technical documentation. My background spans project scheduling, field execution support, QA compliance, and design coordination, supported by hands-on experience with tools like AutoCAD, Civil 3D, BlueBeam, ProCore, RevIt, and more. I currently hold Level 2 Government Security Clearance and have been recognized on the Dean’s List for academic excellence. I’m actively working toward PMI certification and am eager to continue growing in roles that blend technical engineering, project management, and field execution. I’m passionate about building impactful infrastructure and working with purpose-driven teams. Available to start as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) in May 2026. Open to networking, mentorship, and opportunities in infrastructure, energy, and transportation.
