Be the Engineer of Record for the manufacturing facility’s ASME Section Division 1 certification.2. Lead the mechanical design, analysis, and optimization of pressure vessels for manufacturing processes in accordance with ASME Section Division 1 standards.3. Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost optimization in pressure vessel manufacturing.4. Oversee prototype testing and validation of pressure vessel designs, analyzing test results andimplementing design modifications as necessary.5. Review technical documents for completeness and provide team with technical leadership on engineering projects.6. Develop detailed project engineering specifications, drawings, and documentation for manufacturing,fabrication, assembly, and testing using CAD software, ERP system, office software solutions and variousother design systems required.7. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality assurance/testing,procurement, operations, and lifecycle to resolve production and/or field issues and confirm that projects are proceeding as planned.8. Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations, including Building Code,ASME, API, and OSHA requirements.9. Collaborate with procurement teams to identify and evaluate suppliers for components and materials,ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.10. Ensure system designs follow customer and Newterra’s specifications.11. Continued coordination with other engineering functions as needed.12. Provide regular department updates to Engineering Manager, Project Management, and team members as needed.13. Participate in technical discussions, direction and decisions with project team as needed.14. Support engineering applications for proposal generation as needed.15. Support preparation of system operating manuals as directed or required.
