About Karan

As a Photography Intern at Sanatkada, I apply my skills and knowledge in documentary production, communication, and storytelling to create compelling visual narratives that showcase the diverse and rich culture of India. I work with a team of talented and experienced photographers, editors, and designers to conceptualize, shoot, and edit high-quality photos for various projects, such as product photography, exhibitions, publications, and online platforms. I also collaborate with other interns and mentors to learn new techniques, tools, and perspectives that enhance my professional development and creativity. With a year of work experience in photography, including a previous internship at Chavi Photography Classes, where I shot street photographs for storytelling and visual documentation, I have developed a keen eye for capturing the essence and emotions of people, places, and events. I am currently pursuing a degree in Professional Documentary & Commercial Photography at Sri Aurobindo Centre for Arts & Communication, where I explore the theory and practice of documentary production, as well as the ethical, social, and artistic aspects of photography. My passion for photography stems from my interest in social issues, such as gender, education, environment, and human rights, and my desire to use my camera as a tool for raising awareness, inspiring action, and creating change. My goal is to become a documentary photographer who can tell powerful stories that make a difference in the world.
